Admissions criteria
Inpatient Rehabilitation
After experiencing a serious neurological event such as stroke or traumatic brain injury, patients may require intensive rehabilitation. There are certain requirements patients must meet before being admitted to into The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital’s Inpatient program.
- Must require daily medical supervision
- Must require at least 2 forms of therapy (PT, OT or ST)
- Must meet accepted financial or insurance requirements
Outpatient Rehabilitation (Day Neuro)
Patients who choose The NeuroMedical Center’s Day Neuro Program are capable of living independent lives, but want to further improve their functionality at home, at work, or in social settings.
- The individual generally has had a neurological incident or a significant change in functional status due to a neurological impairment
- The individual must be 14 years or older.
- The individual must be in need of at least two therapy services &/or one support service
- Must meet accepted financial or insurance requirements

The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital accepts all major health plans. Not all insurance providers are listed. Our Business Office is available Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm to answer any of your insurance and billing questions (225) 906-3829. We would be happy to work with your insurance provider to negotiate service.
