The NeuroMedical Center is one of the largest freestanding multidisciplinary neuroscience centers in the United States today thanks to the revolutionary thinking of Louisiana neurosurgeon, Dr. Thomas B. Flynn. In the late 1960’s, Dr. Flynn recognized a need in the South for well-trained clinical teams to diagnose and treat disease and disorders of the brain, spine and nervous system. Dr. Flynn laid the foundation for our Baton Rouge, Louisiana campus which continues to serve as the region’s premier destination for excellence in comprehensive neurological care.
