Dr. Williams received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland before attending Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. After getting his medical degree, Dr. Williams completed his family practice internship at Harrisburg Hospital in Pennsylvania and his diagnostic residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Dr. Williams joined the U.S. Army Reserve in 1986, and as a Major on active duty, served Silas B. Hays Army Community Hospital in Fort Ord, California as the Chief of Diagnostic Radiology. In 1989, he returned to the University of South Alabama for two years of additional training as a neuroradiology fellow.

Dr. Williams joined The NeuroMedical Center in 2008 after twenty years practicing in Alabama and Tennessee. Dr. Williams is in-house to interpret scans, leading to faster, more accurate diagnoses for our patients and their families.

Dr. Williams is board certified with the American Board of Radiology. He is also a member of many professional organizations including the American Society of Neuroradiology, the American College of Radiology, the Southeastern Neuroradiology Society, the American Society of Spine Radiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
