In this role, Dr. Walker is responsible for collaborating with the multi-disciplinary stroke team to drive the stroke program’s initiatives, translating research into practice, and leading practice changes to maintain quality outcomes for stroke patients. Additionally, he helps to ensure a smooth transition between the inpatient and outpatient settings with his other neurology partners at the NeuroMedical center.

As a Baton Rouge native, Dr. Walker is an avid LSU fan and crawfish boiling aficionado. He also enjoys traveling with his wife and two young sons.
