As a member of the Greater Baton Rouge region’s largest network of fellowship-trained neurosurgeons Dr. Stanger offers world-class expertise with the latest neurosurgical technology and innovative techniques available to patients across Louisiana. The brain and spine are some of the body’s most sophisticated neurological systems and surgeries to repair damage and improve functioning are highly complex. The neurosurgeons at The NeuroMedical Center understand that neurosurgery is most effective when it is coordinated with the patient’s entire neurological care plan. That is why, Dr. Stanger and his colleagues collaborate closely with the specialists in the neurology, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), and pain medicine departments to create complete, integrated neurological treatment for each patient.

Dr. Stanger is currently accepting new patients, offering his services in Baton Rouge and at The NeuroMedical Center’s satellite locations in Zachary and Walker.
