As a board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist, Dr. Pham focuses on improving quality of life for individuals with conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
Dr. Pham graduated magna cum laude with a degree in political science from the University of Texas at Dallas. She attended medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, and continued her training including an internship in internal medicine and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Pham’s specialty training focused on rehabilitation of the spine after injury, restoring function of the brain after stroke, and expertly evaluating neurological deficits through electrodiagnostic testing and nerve conduction studies.
Dr. Pham joined The NeuroMedical Center’s Pain Management department in July 2005. As a board certified PM&R specialist, Dr. Pham has a special interest in neurorehabilitation. Dr. Pham leads a multidisciplinary team of specialists at The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital, helping those with stroke, spine injuries, and post-surgical patients overcome their physical impairments and return to an optimal level of functioning. On an outpatient basis, Dr. Pham also offers the full range of nonsurgical treatment options: exercise based program, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nonopioid medication management, and spinal injection recommendations.
Dr. Pham is an active member in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is currently accepting new patients.
