Dr. Cole graduated magna cum laude from Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana with degrees in psychology and classical studies. She earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She trained extensively with Pennington Biomedical Research Center as well as the LSUHSC Earl K. Long Medical Center. She completed her residency in clinical psychology through Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. While at Brown, Dr. Cole received specialized training in behavioral medicine and neuropsychology. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology at The NeuroMedical Center, and officially joined The NeuroMedical Center as a licensed clinical psychologist in 2014. Dr. Cole completed a post-doctoral Masters degree in psychopharmacology from Alliant University’s California School of Professional Psychology. She is a member of the Louisiana Academy of Medical Psychologists.
Dr. Cole’s interests include behavioral medicine interventions, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, pre-surgical evaluations, the assessment and treatment of ADHD, and the cognitive-behavioral treatment of mental health problems for patients with concurrent medical, neurologic, or pain conditions.
