When it comes to restoring function due to neurological complications or pinpointing difficult-to-diagnose pain, Baton Rouge turns to Dr. Jyoti S. Pham. As a board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist, Dr. Pham specializes in helping patients who present with a range of needs such as loss of function due to neurological episode, orthopaedic injury, and mobility issues.

Dr. Pham graduated magna cum laude with a degree in political science from the University of Texas at Dallas. She attended medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, and continued her training including an internship in internal medicine and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Washington in Seattle.  Dr. Pham’s specialty training focused on rehabilitation of the spine after injury, restoring function of the brain after stroke, and expertly evaluating neurological deficits through electrodiagnostic testing and nerve conduction studies.

Dr. Pham joined The NeuroMedical Center’s Pain Management department in July 2005.  As a board certified PM&R specialist, Dr. Pham has a special interest in neurorehabilitation.  Dr. Pham leads a multidisciplinary team of specialists at The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation hospital, helping those with stroke, spine injuries, and post-surgical patients overcome their physical impairments and return to an optimal level of functioning.  On an outpatient basis, Dr. Pham also offers the full range of conservative treatment options for chronic spinal pain including epidural steroid injections, Botox injections, trigger point injections, and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).

Dr. Pham is an active member in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She is currently accepting new patients.
