Each patient’s road to recovery is unique. That’s why our physicians and therapists work closely with you and your loved ones to create a treatment that’s unique like you. The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital brings together a leading team of specialists right when and where you need it. Our hospital is located on the same campus as our main clinic and physician offices, allowing our clinicians to see their patients throughout their stay and during the course of their therapies. Our multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation programs are led by an expert team of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists (also known as physiatrists) and include a highly-specialized collection of rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, neuropsychologists, case managers, and social workers who work as one to determine the right course for your needs. Weekly team meetings help to individualize treatments and produce rapid recovery for optimal patient care.
OUR PHYSICIANS
Our multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation programs are led by an expert team of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists (also known as physiatrists) who work with a highly specialized staff to determine the right course for your needs. Our physician’s offices are located in the same building as the hospital allowing our clinicians to see their patients throughout their stay and knowledgeable of each patient’s progress.

PHYSICAL THERAPY
Our goal is to improve functional independence by focusing on the improvement of balance, strength, flexibility and endurance while also addressing cognition. Recommendations of assistive equipment and modifications for home may also be addressed while preparing to discharge.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Treatments are uniquely designed to improve activities of personal care while improving gross and fine motor control to allow for more independence with activities of daily living. Splints, braces and adaptive equipment may also be evaluated as needed.
SPEECH THERAPY
Our speech therapy team strives to help improve cognitive and communication skills including, but not limited to, swallowing, comprehension, memory, reasoning, problem solving, writing and reading.
SOCIAL WORK
Social work is available to assist all patient’s during their inpatient stay and while preparing for discharge. While assisting with emotional, financial and social aspects of healing, social work is also available to provide guidance to family members in understanding the diagnosis, the healing process, modification to daily living and support associated with caregivers’ stress.
Registered/Licensed Nursing Staff and Assistants
The NeuroMedical Rehabilitation Hospital provides 24-hour patient care, 7 days a week to all inpatients with highly skilled staff.
Registered Dietitians
During an inpatient stay, our Registered Dietitian will work closely with our medical staff to develop a diet individualized for each patient’s nutritional needs and/or dietary restrictions. Our in-house Dietitian is available to provide education, nutritional advice and family education if needed.
