Valarie is from Watson, LA and graduated from Live Oak High School in 2011. She earned her undergraduate degree with a major in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015. She then graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in August 2017. She started as a Physician Assistant at The NeuroMedical Center with Dr. Charles R. Bowie in September of 2017. She assists Dr. Bowie in surgeries at both The Spine Hospital of Louisiana and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Valarie also provides pre- and post-operative instructions to patients in Baton Rouge and Eunice.
In her free time she loves to read books, hang out with family and friends, and catch up on her favorite TV shows.
