Dr. Jake Trahan joins The NeuroMedical Center as the newest member of the pain medicine team. Dr. Trahan diagnoses and treats a wide variety of pathologies with a focus on minimally invasive advanced spine procedures and ultrasound guided interventions. Born and raised in South Louisiana, Dr. Trahan is looking forward to bringing his medical expertise back to the communities in which he was raised, and to provide his patients with options to help alleviate their pain symptoms. 

After obtaining his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Dr. Trahan completed an anesthesiology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (“VUMC”) in Nashville, TN. Dr. Trahan furthered his medical training as a pain medicine fellow at VUMC. Dr. Trahan is board certified in anesthesiology and will complete his board certification in pain medicine in September 2020.

Dr. Trahan is a member of American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the North American Neuromodulation Society and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Trahan is welcoming new patients at The NeuroMedical Center’s main clinic in Baton Rouge and at our Interventional Pain Management Clinic in Crowley, Louisiana.
