Shaun M. Kuoni, MD is The NeuroMedical Center’s newest Interventional Pain Management specialist. Joining the region’s largest network of brain, spine, and nervous system experts, Dr. Kuoni specializes in minimally invasive advanced spine procedures including kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation. Additionally, Dr. Kuoni provides treatment of painful conditions throughout the body including treatment of pain in the joints and extremities including persistent pain after knee replacement, CRPS, chronic pain after hernia repair, as well as facial pain syndromes.

Dr. Kuoni obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston, Texas before completing an anesthesiology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  Dr. Kuoni furthered his medical training as a pain medicine fellow at Vanderbilt. Dr. Kuoni is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine.

As the 9th interventional pain management specialist on The NeuroMedical Center’s medical staff, Dr. Kuoni currently see patients in Hammond, Covington, and Slidell.
