Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Qs)
Patients of The NeuroMedical Center and their guests may park for free anywhere in the five level parking garage attached to The NeuroMedical Center. Free and handicap parking is also offered on a first-come first-serve basis in one of the Perkins Rowe public parking garages located behind the Cinemark Movie Theatre and next to Fresh Market. All other public parking spaces are property of Perkins Rowe and contain a meter that accepts coins. The NeuroMedical Center features two covered areas at each of its two entrances, reserved for pick-up and drop-off only.
There are two main entrances to The NeuroMedical Center. If you are arriving at The NeuroMedical Center for
- An initial or follow-up visit with a physician our one of our other providers
- Outpatient Day Neuro Program
- IV Hydration & Vitamin Infusion
You will need to enter on the side of the six-story Medical Office Building (MOB) which contains the revolving door and handicap entrance located opposite of The NeuroMedical Center parking garage. Inside, you will find a pair of elevator doors and a directory displaying each physician and their floor. Take the elevator to the correct floor and then follow the signs leading up to the check-in desk.
If you are arriving at The NeuroMedical Center for a surgical or non-surgical procedure in The Spine Hospital of Louisiana, enter through the revolving doors or push the button to open the handicap entrance on the side closest to The NeuroMedical Center parking garage. The check-in desk is located immediately inside.
For each appointment you will need to bring a picture ID and your insurance card. For your first appointment please bring any test results and any films or CD’s including x-rays, MRIs, CTs, or lab results. Also bring a list of all current medications you are taking. You can also save time by downloading and filling out a new patient packet before arriving for your appointment.
Wheelchairs are available on the first floor of The NeuroMedical Center Clinic. Please bring an I.D. to the Imaging Desk located just inside the entrance located opposite The NeuroMedical Center parking garage.
