Dr. Langston received his undergraduate degree from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico before attending medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his internship in medicine and pediatrics and started his anesthesiology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine before completing his residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. Before moving to Baton Rouge to practice, Dr. Langston served as chief resident at Loma Linda Medical for one year from 1995-1996.
Since joining The NeuroMedical Center in 1996, Dr. Langston has positioned himself as an expert in the field of physiatry, serving on numerous boards related to his area of expertise which include sports, travel, and high altitude medicine. He is currently the Co-Medical Director of The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital. Additionally, he dedicates 20 hours annually to continued education in the constantly evolving field of pain management and rehabilitation medicine. His extensive research is documented in numerous physiatry-related publications.
Dr. Langston is a proud member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. He is a distinguished College of Santa Fe Alum, who founded the College of Santa Fe Emergency Medical Unit.
