In-Center Laboratory for Timely Results

As part of your neurological examination, your physician may order a blood test at The Spine Hospital of Louisiana’s in-house Laboratory. This is where screening tests of blood, urine, or other substances are used to accurately diagnose and monitor neurological issues. Your physician may also order a blood test to check for vitamin deficiencies, toxic elements, and evidence of abnormal immune response.  Our COLA-accredited laboratory is on-site, guaranteeing your results will be forwarded to your physician in a timely manner.

The Spine Hospital of Louisiana Laboratory is accredited by COLA, the premier clinical laboratory education and accreditation organization, and has been awarded the “COLA Laboratory of Excellence Award” every year since 2008. The designations indicate that our laboratory exceeds regulatory requirements to provide the best possible patient care, and signifies our commitment to performing quality patient testing.

LABORATORY HOURS & LOCATION

The Spine Hospital of Louisiana Laboratory is located on the 1st floor of The NeuroMedical Center and is open Monday through Friday 7am-5pm.
