Dual board certified in interventional pain and anesthesiology, Dr. Graugnard has advanced skills in helping patients in Baton Rouge and all across South Louisiana manage chronic low back pain, neck pain, joint pain, and headaches comprehensively and without surgery. Dr. Graugnard received his medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana before moving to Birmingham, Alabama to complete post-graduate training. After finishing an internal medicine internship at Brookwood Baptist Health System, Dr. Graugnard underwent a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (“UAB”). He then completed a fellowship in pain medicine at UAB, focusing on spine and joint-related interventional pain management.
Dr. Graugnard joined The NeuroMedical Center in August of 2018, and has already helped hundreds of patients treat their pain non-surgically using techniques such as epidural steroid injections (ESIs), nerve bolckas, spinal cord stimulation (SCS) trials, and radiofrequency ablation (RFA.) Dr. Graugnard’s goal is to improve the function and quality of life of his patients through providing specialized care plans to meet each patient’s individual needs and goals.
Dr. Graugnard is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. Dr. Graugnard is board certified in Anesthesiology.
