Daniel was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University where he graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He worked in the surgery department at Ochsner Hospital until he was accepted into the Physician Assistant program at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He did an elective clinical rotation in neurosurgery at University Medical Center in New Orleans and then began working with neurosurgeon, Dr. Eric K. Oberlander, in March 2016 for his preceptorship in neurosurgery. Daniel graduated in May 2016 with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and began working with Dr. Oberlander’s neurosurgery team in July.

Daniel is responsible for patient care pre-operatively, post-operatively, and in clinic s well as first assisting in surgery. He sees patients at The NeuroMedical Center’s Covington, Hammond, and Baton Rouge locations.

When Daniel is not caring for patients, you will find him out fishing. He is also a big Saints and LSU fan.
