Dr. Reddick is a native of California and has been trained at some of the nation’s most renowned institutions. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he was a member of the Beta Kappa Chi National Scientific Honors Society. Dr. Reddick then attended graduate school at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he earned his Master’s Degree in Mind, Brain and Education (MBE). Dr. Reddick then decided to pursue medicine and attended Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee before completing a neurology residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. While a resident, Dr. Reddick earned many notable awards including Neurology Resident of the Year and was even named Chief Resident for the Neurology Department in his final year. Taking a special interest in neuromuscular disorders, Dr. Reddick then returned to Harvard, this time the Medical School, and underwent fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine at both Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Dual board certified in neurology and neuromuscular medicine, Dr. Reddick expertly diagnoses and treats diseases that cause muscular weakness and sensory disturbance including: ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), diabetic neuropathy, Guillain Barre syndrome, CIDP, myasthenia gravis, and muscular dystrophy. He is also one of the few physicians in the region with extensive electromyography (EMG) training and experience, and has the ability to conduct the sophisticated diagnostic procedure in-house at The NeuroMedical Center’s state-of- the-art Neurodiagnostic Lab. He joins one of the nation’s largest, finest teams of neurological specialists, becoming the 9th neurologist on staff at the Baton Rouge campus. Additionally, Dr. Reddick will work closely with a prominent team of neurosurgeons, pain medicine physicians, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists to provide comprehensive, neurological care for you and your loved ones.
Dr. Reddick is married to his wife, Candace, who is a general dentist and has joined him in Baton Rouge to deliver quality health care to the greater metropolitan area. His hobbies include professional and collegiate football, basketball, community outreach, and volunteerism. He is currently accepting new patients.
