“Impeccable” Experience at The Spine Hospital
Baton Rouge, LA
I wanted to express my thanks for the impeccable surgery experience and stay at The Spine Hospital of Louisiana at The NeuroMedical Center. I’ve worked in the medical field for the last 25 years and have been employed by a local surgical center the past 15 years. I am very opinionated about the way healthcare has fallen short on so many levels and things aren’t the same as “back in the day.” I come from the day when a physician yelled at you for a mistake, you never made the mistake again. The many wrongdoings that I see on an almost daily basis in the entire medical community, doctor’s offices, hospitals etc. are just unfortunately, accepted. I just can’t thank you enough for the unbelievable care and treatment I received at your facility. From my pre-op experience with Susan, to my circulator, Debra and Pat Tucker, my trusty CRNA, to my 2 precious recovery room nurses that made me feel like I was the only patient in PACU. One sweet recovery room nurses name was Jacqueline, as she remembered me from a small outpatient procedure I had in May. That impressed me, how often does that happen…almost never! My nurse Kim was excellent as well as Andrea, her trusty sidekick. I don’t think I ever hit my “call your nurse” button because I didn’t have to. The other really impressive thing was that I did get to sleep the night. Kim and Andrea made sure my vitals and meds were done in sync which was unheard of in most hospital stays. The most important thing I felt was that everyone really loved their jobs and it showed in the care that they provided! I hope to not have any more surgeries in the near future but if you guys did tummy tucks... I’d be scheduling there at The Spine Hospital!
