IMAGING CENTER PROFESSIONAL STAFF: All technologists administering exams are licensed radiologic technologists. Additionally, the technologists who do CT and MRI exams are subspecialty certified in these fields.
All diagnostic imaging studies are supervised and interpreted by radiologists who are board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American College of Radiology.
Imaging Center Services
- CT or Cat Scan (Computed Tomography Scan) and CTA (Computed Tomography Angiogram) – The department has a spiral CT scanner that can perform extremely detailed examinations of the entire body. This scanner is accredited by the American College of Radiology.
- MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiogram) The department has two MRI scanners with state-of-the-art technology. These scanners are accredited by the American College of Radiology, and provide much higher resolution than other systems available, especially mobile and open systems that often produce non-diagnostic quality exams.
- X-Rays – The department has a state-of-the-art x-ray machine capable of all diagnostic x-ray procedures
* For our patient’s convenience, we offer extended hours and Saturday appointments for MRI scanning.
The NeuroMedical Center Clinic imaging center is one of few in the region that has the ability to perform proton spectroscopy.
How to make an appointment with the Imaging Center
The NeuroMedical Center Clinic accepts referrals from physicians in all fields of medicine and most insurance companies, as well as employers of injured workers. A referral or appointment may be made by either the patient or the referral source by calling our appointment scheduling department at (225) 768-2050.
