Free Memory Screenings at The NeuroMedical Center
Did you know NOVEMBER is National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month? Alzheimer’s is a complex neurological disease that causes memory loss and a reduction of other cognitive functions. It affects approximately 5 million people in the United States alone, and more than 10 million people are caring for loved ones impacted by the disease.
To raise awareness about the impact memory tests have had on the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease and other potentially harmful health conditions, The NeuroMedical Center Clinic is partnering up with Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area to offer FREE and CONFIDENTIAL Memory Screenings on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 on the 2nd floor, from 9am-12pm. The event is open to the public and provides a valuable opportunity to learn more about healthy lifestyle choices for successful aging. Representatives from Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area will also be on hand to discuss what community resources are available to you, right here in Baton Rouge. No appointment necessary.
