The NeuroMedical Center in Baton Rouge conducts a concentrated clinical research program that fosters innovation and collaboration. We are dedicated to the advancement of new and better treatment strategies for our patients and all who suffer from neurological disorders. Our physicians and expert staff work with participants in our clinical studies to learn different methods for prevention, diagnosis and treatment for neurological diseases and conditions. Active Studies of our Clinical Research
Parkinson's Disease Clinical Trial (no study length indicated): A clinical research study for patients diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease who are experiencing involuntary movements (called dyskinesias) that are caused by levodopa treatment.
Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Trial (appx. 15 months): A clinical research study that is looking at the impact of two different approved medications for MS on tissue damage in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) caused by MS.If you qualify for this study you will receive free study medication, study-related care and may be compensated for time and travel.
Chronic Migraine Clinical Trial (appx. 9 months): A phase-4, open-label research study to compare the efficacy, safety and tolerability of prophylactic treatment with BOTOX and topiramate in adults with chronic migraine.
