If you are experiencing physical limitations caused by neurological disorder, injury or pain, a physician may refer you to The NeuroMedical Center Clinic’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Center.

The NeuroMedical Center Clinic Outpatient Therapy Department is committed to helping patients return to their highest level of function and independence at work, at home and in the community following a neurological or musculoskeletal complication. Our physical and occupational therapists boast nearly five decades of orthopedic experience and are all trained in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT). They work alongside physicians to develop comprehensive, individualized care plans for patients who are experiencing physical limitations caused by complications such as stroke, brain or spinal trauma, carpal tunnel syndrome and amputation.

Our Physical Therapy Program consists of licensed and certified therapists with decades of experience in the field. All specialize in the treatment of pain in the back, neck and extremities, and have undergone extensive training and certification in the McKenzie approach of mechanical diagnosis and treatment. They successfully rehabilitate patients who are actively recovering from spinal surgery, or are suffering with painful complications like facet joint dysfunction, herniated discs and plantar fasciitis. Our Orthopedic Program also offers an expert team of Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) who are highly skilled at restoring functionality to patients who are suffering from conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome.

In addition to our Physical Therapy Program, our Neurological Therapy Program provides services to those suffering from conditions like ALS, Parkinson’ Disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke and vestibular disorders. Multiple sclerosis patients greatly benefit from physician lead baclofen pump placement and the baclofen clinical trials lead right here at The NeuroMedical Center Clinic.

The NeuroMedical Center’s Outpatient Therapy Center is different than traditional outpatient facilities because care is tailored and provided by a team of experts, treatment is scheduled to meet the needs of each patient, and specialized one-on-one attention is designed to empower individuals to be active participants in the management of their health and recovery.
